Little Cow Girl

Good Morning and look what I just found. Little Cow Girl. This is a little buck skin filly, granddaughter of the great Jerry Lee Surprise (as grandpa would say). She has soft smoky green eyes, skinny ribs, and long legs. Grandpa says she will become his next favorite mare. I love all my grand kids this beautiful spring morning. Good luck at school today. Be smart and kind.

Dad

Is Dad handsome or what! What! I have the need to tell you how much I love your Dad. He is a gift! I am so grateful each night when I crawl in bed with him. He is warm and kind and always makes me feel safe. For the past two days we have worked with Moon Dance to get her ready to take to a horse sale over in Heber. We washed and clipped her and brushed her till she was shinny. The sell lasted for ever and we didn't sell her. Horses were going for so cheep. We came home so tired, but one good thing, a lady just called and wants to come see her again tomorrow. So that might be good. I appreciate our girl's talk. Kelly we talked about me and Dad and learning to be happy. I am feeling Kenya calling my name. I am whispering in Dad's ear while he is sleeping "Let's Go". I am having fun with Dad this spring working and caring for Wallsburg. I have a million wild flower seeds to plan and I can't wait to see if they will grow. We have 5 or 6 big cottonwood trees that have died in the backyard, so there is a big job. The swings have not taken flight, maybe the time is not just right. Kim I talked to Judy. Do you think you could help me start a gratitude journal? Thought I would call you Monday after your kids have gone to school. I have been so touched by your Joy in the Journey. This is what my heart would like to keep tract of too. Yours is so simple and perfect. I think when we know we are going to write down what we are grateful for, it makes us more aware all day long, in the simple, sacred things found in the ordinary. I love my girls. You each teach me so much. Happy a Wonderful Spring! Did I mention I love your Dad? I do!

Heaps

Is this not a beautiful couple? Brown and Sassy. Thank you for letting Kim and I share your life for a time. I Love The Heaps!
Nothing better than brothers! Oh my gosh!

Watery eyes to get lost in, lips a grandma could kiss.

We went to Marion's Birthday Party tonight. David was there talking about Africa, and now sleep is one hundred miles away. Dad and I are going there! I am using the power of positive thinking! I miss you Kim, Kelly, Jamie and Nicole. Someday, when the time is right, we will go to Africa together.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICOLE

Nicole I love you! I love how you have a hundred library books in your front room. I love that Shawn can put together a million puzzles. I love the yummy food in your fridge. How you sell potatoes, jog, smile, read, make cream puffs! I love all your movies! I love you!

Easter Sunday

The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

He Is Risen!

This morning I woke up early to check on Holly, the next Mom in line for a baby. To my surprize I saw a white, clean, clear morning. I couldn't help but wonder how Mary felt as she went to the sepulchre alone, in the darki with a broken heart. I love that the Savior first came to a woman.

Thompson Ladies, I forgot to tell you about the things about Tess that remind me of you. McKinnely she has your thick curly shinny hair that always looks beautiful. Madison her agile light at a feather wings and body remind me of you. Maizie when I look at her puckered lips I think of you and your happy, preforming spirit, it always makes me smile. Millie she has feminine little hands like yours and a spirit of magic just like what I see in your eyes. We will always have dear Tess because of the Kentucky Airport and the Thompson family. I love you all. Kelly I am waiting to hear from you. I think you are probably all sleeping wonderfully this Saturday Morning.
