The Secret

It's Monday morning and I just got back from a long walk in the rain. It felt so good.
  1. The creative Process helps you create what you want in three simple steps: ask, believe, and receive.
  2. Asking is your opportunity to get clear about what you really want.
  3. Believing involves acting, speaking, and thinking as though you have already received what you've asked for.
  4. To lose weight, don't focus on "losing weight". Instead, focus on your perfect weight.
  5. Create your day in advance by thinking the way you want to go, and you will create your life intentionally.

Can't wait for Sunday when we can all be together. Kelly thinks 6:00 would be good for them.

Secrets

  1. Nothing can come into your experience unless you summon it through persistent thoughts.
  2. To know what you're thinking, ask yourself how you are feeling. Emotions are valuable tools that instantly tell us what we are thinking.
  3. It is impossible to feel bad and at the same time have good thoughts.
  4. When you feel good, you are powerfully attracting more good things to you.
  5. Secret Shifters, such as pleasant memories, nature, or your favorite boiler music, can change your feelings and shift your frequency in an instant.
  6. The feeling of love is the highest frequency you can emit. The greater the love you feel and emit, the greater the power you are harnessing.

The sun is shinning today, hope baby Grady is feeing better, and Bret and Jason learn a few new dancing moves. Good Luck Emilee, Jenny and Abbie. Katy we have a treat date overdue. Get your grandma on the ball!

The Secret

I love this picture of Dad, I think he is holding Dax, but his kind eyes and brown face speak to my soul. Yesterday Dad and I visited Bret and Jason. All three of them talked about their concern for the econmy anad their family. I remember the winter Dad had back surgury and we were out of work, how sick I felt most of the time. That time passed and this time too is going to get better. I think we need to come together as sisters and encourage each other. Our husbands need to hear of our trust in them and our faith in them. I think we should all cut back on our needs and look at what we already have, more than enough. We need to be positive with our husbands. To look at them with love and gratitude. We could help by trying to have a peacful feeling at home when they come home at night. We could fix simple meals that smeel good when they walk through the door. We could whisper sweet love in their ear before we go to sleep. In the book The Gift of the Magi, Belle's husband looked for work each day, but couldn't find anything. Belle always spoke to him as if he was the most wonderful, suceessful man. That is what we need to do too. All of our men have gone out on their own to make a living and they are amazing. It is hard when all the responsibility falls on them. I think we should join together to help us to keep thinking and acting positive. I like the book The Secret and I am going to be posting some of the thoughts from it. Maybe our men need some love notes in their pockets with encouraging words. Really we are so000000 blessed!

"The Secret is the law of attraction. Everything that's coming into your life you are attracting into your life. And it's attracted to you by virture of the images you're holding in your mind. It's what you're thinking. Whatever is going on in your mind you are attracting to you."
"See yourself living in abundance and you will attract it. It works every time, with every person."
"Make your last thoughts before going to sleep good thoughts."
"Your whole life is a manifestation of the thoughts that go in your head."
I love you!

For Kim: From The Poisonwood Bible
"A first child is your own best foot forward, and how you do cheer those little feet as they strike out. You examine every turn of flesh for precocity, and crow it to the world. But the last one: the baby who trails her scent like a flag of surrender through your life when there will be no more coming after--oh, that's love by a different name. She is the babe you hold in your arms for an hour after she's gone to sleep. If you put her down in the crib, she might wake up changed and fly away. So instead you rock by the window, drinking the light from her skin, breathing her exhaled dreams. You heart bays to the double crescent moons of closed lashes on her cheeks. She's the one you can't put down.
My baby, my blood, my honest truth; entreat me not to leave thee, for whither thou goest I will go. Where I lodge, we lodge together. Where I die you'll be buried at last. A mother's body remembers her babies--the folds of soft scalp against her nose. Each child has its own entreaties to body and soul."
Kim, I remember you as a new baby, you brought such joy with you and now there is little Jayne that we all can love. . . forever. Mother, Daughter, Sister We Are The Believers! I wonder what her Fairy name will be? Emmie start thinking again. These are the happiest of times.

It is Monday afternoon and we are all so excited and nervous. The kids can hardly wait. A new baby. . . when will she get here?????????? All the kids seemed a little sick this morning not wanting to go to school, especially Max. I know he just wanted to stay close to his mom, but Jason joked with everyone and got them off to school. Now were are still just waiting
This is Kimmy as she is getting in the car to leave, isn't she darling!
Oh do be brave!
What a miracle!

Isn't it amazing what comes with Love!

Kim and J. do make the most beautiful children!
Everyone get ready because the next picture on this post will be cute little brand new Bernice

Jace in the Hospital

We knew Jace was sick but we had no idea how sick. When Jamie called us over at Bret's house, and told us he was in the hospital we knelt down and prayed. When I walked to Jace's hospital room, he looked so lifeless. He didn't want to look at us or eat. The doctor said that some kids with RSV lay that way for 10 days. We felt heart sick. After everyone left for the night, Jamie took things in her hands. "Jace we are going to give you a shower", she announced. She undressed him and tried to hold him out in the shower while he screamed. Finally in a flash she took off her own clothes, jumped in the shower with him and held him close in her arms. His crying turned to soft giggles, safe in his mother's arms he announced, "I don't want to ever get out." Once dried and dressed in new pajamas, Jace was a different child. Jamie had brought him back to life. He wanted to eat and his eyes once again looked shinny. A mother has inspiration for her child, Jamie sure did. Jamie thank heavens for you!!! Thank you for a night at your house I will never forget. Warm bath, clean sheets, and even a foot rub. . . I think I came back to life too. There are angels among us!

Clarks

What a gift it is to be able to be your home. I loved the whole adventure. The Clark's pretty well took care of themselves. Jenny and Katy are true blue mothers. So kind and helpful. Nicole your home is so organized. Tyler is so helpful in every way. When I couldn't figure something out he always could. Like putting the stove back together after cleaning it. Jenny and Tyler both score in the 90 percentile in their Iowa Basic Testing. . . Amazing! Little Shawn goes to bed like a breeze, all you have to do is put him on his stomach in his crib and tuck the blue soft blanket around him like a burrito. He is gone. . unbelievable. . . where was that burrito trick when I was trying to get Bret to sleep? Bret and Nicole you are doing a great job raising lovable kids. I am sure it has something to do with good genes. I love you all!
